We hope your 2019 has had a great start, and you’re sticking to those Resolutions!
The Pokt team has some exciting updates to share with you.
Dev Updates
1. The first release of our Core Client architecture is set for Q2.
It’s tentatively titled “MVP” right now, but we're still brainstorming the naming scheme for our releases with the goal of having a cooler name than '“MVP” when promotion ramps up. Have any ideas?
Leading up to the release, we will be pre-registering developers and node operators to participate. Once you are registered we will be Airdropping PXKT tokens to you!
More details are coming soon!
2. Portis.io has released their SDKs fully integrated with Pokt.
Thanks for the shout out Portis! We completely agree that redundancy gives dApps resilience. Another advantage for Portis using Pokts protocol is that they will be able to support many different blockchains without the hassle.

3. (Sneak Peak) we have partnered with AION.network
We received a grant through the AION grant program. Promotion will start later this month but the Android & IOS plugins for our SDKs are already on our Github for you to play with.
4. Irving Rivas has starting livecoding sessions on Twitch.tv.
Pocket-core developer Irving Rivas has started livecoding sessions on twitch. We haven’t put these on a schedule(yet) as he is still working out the kinks, but we do inform our friends in advance on Telegram and Twitter.

Economics & Governance updates
1. PhD Professor, Shivendu Shivendu has joined as Economics Advisor.
It happened through serendipity and we are so grateful for this. We're very much looking forward to sharing our economic paper with you all later this year.
Currently an overview has been posted in our research forum and there is healthy conversation around it.

2. We are finalizing our Charter for our DAO V0.01.
This will be used to govern an allotment of the PXKT token for the enhancement of Pokt's developer experience and ecosystem. There are still changes to be made in the latest Charter draft, but to help you understand the thinking and for early feedback, we have also posted this to our research forum.

A hot topic going on in the space is centered around “Are dApps really decentralized while relying on centralized node infrastructure” More importantly “How to we keep node infrastructure decentralized” Because Pokt network was built for exactly this, we took some time to highlight other projects in the space tackling this problem.
