Developer Updates
The Pocket-Core “MVP 1.6” release is out! Here are some of the additions.
1. CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing) support. This will enable client-side web applications to be able to communicate with any Service Node.
2. Docker Container section for nodes have been updated in documentation for simpler experience. https://docs.pokt.network/docs/docker-service-node-setup
3. Web3 Provider has been added to the docs for direct access to Ethereum and AION network. https://docs.pokt.network/docs/pocket-web3-provider
What to expect next.
1. Walkthrough videos for connecting to AION and Ethereum are in the final editing stages and will be released this month.
2. Example DApp “Pocket Chat“ tutorials will be released alongside the walkthrough videos.

Economics & Governance Updates
1. DAO Charter has gone through more updates, with considerations for using both Aragon and Colony for different aspects of on-chain governance. Updated charter will be released in the coming weeks.
2. Economic research continues, now in sync with engineer for protocol design into Pocket Testnet and Mainnet.

It has been a fairly quite month regarding public-facing content/news for Pocket because of so much behind the scenes work, but here are a few highlights.
1. Pocket Network mentioned in Quiknodes #web3vibes publication.
2. Pocket Technical Evangelist, Jeremy Beal wins Plasma Group meme contest.
3. Michael O’Rourke publishes thought piece “Cryptonetworks will challenge infrastructure monopolies” and is well received by the broader community.
4. Michael O’Rourke demonstrates the Monster Chase decentralized application for AION network.
Behind the Scenes
1. Luis (Pocket CTO) has submitted the pull-request for Portis.io to directly integrate Pocket Core software into their SDK. Look for a formal release soon!
2. The Pocket team has begun planning and preparation for integrations of various other notable projects in the space. More details(including project names) will be announced in the coming weeks.
3. (Sneak Peek)Pocket Network was the recipient of another Grant, from a major project! The name and scope of work will also be announced formally in the next few weeks.
4. Pocket led “DIS” thought brand, evolves with it’s own branding and workstream. DIS will be a rolling news source for projects, research and news related to Decentralized Infrastructure Solutions. https://twitter.com/DISweekly
The first pieces will be a video and article with Brendan Lee of Nodesmith regarding the place for cloud-agnostic node solutions within a decentralized node network.
5. Fundraising continues, with commitments from various high-profile funds and individuals.
